Life seems to be as much about what we can’t see or know, as what we can. I create works of art that explore or embrace the obstructed or partial vision. I make complex and multi layered wholes and synergistic groupings. My works can be broken down into component parts, fragments, and fractured elements which strive to add up to something that may never be fully comprehensible. The forces driving my work are: reverence, awe, and acknowledgement of the seeming contradiction of insignificance and significance of existence. Life is fleeting and fragmentary, yet to exist for an instance means to exist for all of eternity.
